Cyclone update: Forest reopening Monday

Following the impact of Cyclone Vaianu, our Incident Response Team has assessed conditions.  

There is no change to the planned reopening, with the forest estate expected to reopen from 6:30am Monday 13 April, subject to final safety checks. Gates will remain locked until then. 

A structured and prioritised approach to reopening will be taken, with our team assessing key access routes and identifying any hazards before full operations resume. 

As always, safety remains the priority, and all personnel returning to the forest are expected to proceed with caution and report any issues encountered.
