Code of Conduct
At Kaingaroa Tipu, we care for more than forests — we care for people, communities, and the whenua entrusted to us. Our Code of Conduct sets out the standards we expect from everyone who works in, visits, or partners with us, and reflects how we live our values every day: manaaki (care), mahi tahi (collaborate), and tipu (grow).
It’s a practical guide to doing the right thing — keeping people safe, treating others with respect, protecting our environment, and acting with integrity in everything we do. Whether you’re on a worksite, in the forest, or engaging with our communities, the Code helps ensure we work safely, responsibly, and with purpose.
Our Code applies to everyone — our board, leaders, kaimahi, contractors, partners, and recreational users of our forests. By following it, we look after each other, strengthen trust, and protect the legacy we are growing for future generations.
