Report a Safety Issue or Hazard
Tell us if you see something unsafe.
Incidents can happen anywhere within our forests. To keep everyone safe we encourage you to let us know if you see something that concerns you.
If you encounter an emergency situation, please call 111.
If you encounter a safety hazard, an environmental issue or have a general concern regarding activities in our forests please report it to us by calling 0800 854 624.
Call to report the following:
- Roadside felling concerns
- Unsafe vehicle behaviour
- Over height or unsafe loads
- Environmental issues such as slips, washouts, flooding, or contamination.
Email trickytrees@kt.co.nz for our team to remove hazardous trees. These are trees that need to be removed:
- For access purposes
- For safety purposes
- As a result of being uprooted or broken due to strong winds.
