Filming & photography application form

• This form must be completed for all commercial, media, promotional, or organisational filming or photography proposed on the Kaingaroa Forest Estate and sites managed by Kaingaroa Tipu.
• Applications need to be submitted at least 15 working days before filming unless agreed otherwise with Kaingaroa Tipu for exceptional circumstances.
• Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) used for filming or photography require a UAV Operations Permit and applications must be submitted at least one month before flying.
• Anyone entering our estate for filming must complete a Business Forest Access Health & Safety Induction before entering the forest.
• Any vehicle entering the forest must hold a valid  Business Access Permit, which must be displayed on the vehicle at all times. Please ensure you allow 10 working days for processing.
• You will need to be hosted by a Kaingaroa Tipu staff member and comply with our directive, and any site-specific health and safety requirements.
• We reserve the right to review and approve any footage captured within the Kaingaroa Forest Estate, including footage of our staff and business sites, prior to release.
